Looking to get something personalized or customized for yourself or as a gift? You can have it engraved and fortunately, it will last forever! But then you think to yourself, exactly what can I get engraved? Good news is, almost anything.
The most common choices are simply letters and numbers. You can bring your gift in and have an anniversary or birthday date, the name of the person(s) or a meaningful sentence engraved on it. This is also the fastest and cheapest way to get something personalized because there will be no need for extra designing efforts. We can just type in what you have in mind and start engraving.
Logos and special designs are also the next popular pick. Engrave your dad’s company logo on a belt you bought for him or two infinity symbols on you and your best friend’s key chains. Now if you have a vector file of the design ready that’s the best option for us to work with. A vector file is usually the originally designed version and since it is not made up of pixels, it can be resized or changed easily. Therefore, we need to spend less time preparing it for engraving. However, if you don’t have a vector file, don’t worry, just give us a picture or a pdf file and our graphic designers will do their magic. Again, the better the quality and resolution of the picture, the less designing time we’ll need spend on it.
Pictures are also something you can engrave! We realize not many people know this but you can actually engrave a picture on a wooden or metal surface and it will look very fashionable and unique. And once again, the higher the quality of the picture, the better the engraving results.
You can also make your item extra personalized by bringing in your own design on paper. Many bring in their children or grandparents’ handwritings and have them engraved on their chosen items.
In the picture above you can see one of our favorite orders! A wonderful mom brought in a pair of cufflinks and also sent us a picture of their children’s names written by themselves. We traced the names and engraved each name on one. The results were amazing and the gift was certainly something found nowhere else in the world!
